Healthy and Safe Working Environment
Microbio places great importance on providing a safe and healthy work environment for employees and workers while prioritizing environmental protection. The company has established an “Occupational Safety and Health Policy” as the highest guiding principle for safety and health management, supported by a range of specific action plans to ensure its implementation. The Longtan facility obtained ISO 45001:2018 certification from a third-party verification body in January 2021, with the most recent certification valid until January 2027.
Safety is the company’s top priority, and Microbio is dedicated to providing a safe, hygienic, and healthy work environment. Through education, training, and awareness campaigns, the company enhances employees’ understanding of occupational safety and health and fosters a strong awareness of hazard prevention.
To prevent fires, Microbio conducts fire emergency drills every six months and performs monthly self-inspections of fire safety equipment. Annual maintenance is carried out on equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, hoses, emergency exit lights, and smoke detectors. Additionally, building safety inspections are conducted every two years to ensure compliance with fire safety standards, including fire compartmentation, lightning protection systems, and emergency power systems. Any identified deficiencies are promptly addressed and rectified.
At the Longtan facility, gas leak alarms are installed in areas such as the kitchen, gas cylinder storage, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks for boilers. These alarms are designed to notify relevant personnel immediately in the event of a fire alarm, ensuring safety at all times.
