Microbio is dedicated to creating a sustainable environment for future generations. We support the principles of a circular economy and are committed to maintaining a zero-landfill waste target. Through waste reduction and recycling initiatives, we aim to maximize resource utilization efficiency.
Since 2020, we have continuously increased the proportion of raw material waste being recycled and reused, reaching 63% of general and hazardous industrial waste by 2023. This includes the recycling of soybean residue as feed for livestock and the composting of plant residues by certified external vendors.
Looking ahead, using 2023 as the baseline, we plan to increase the waste recycling rate by at least 1% annually, with the goal of achieving a recycling rate of no less than 70% by 2030.
